Default And it's goodbye from me.

For the time being anyway.

I ran a check yesterday. Just browsing the site took me over an hour and half each visit.
You all know what it's like, you log on, look on the contents and find a few things that interest you? That you want to read, or which stir you into a reply? Or questions asked that YOU can answer?

I have better things to do than sit staring at the page waiting for it to time out over and over again, or clicking repeatedly to get a page to load. This morning has been as bad as ever.

I shall log on again once a week for the next few weeks, probably at weekends, then, if it gets no better, once a month.

IF, by some means, it gets repaired, will someone please e-mail me?

If anyone has any pressing questions that they think I might be able to help with, feel free to e-mail, or find me over on SIDC.

BFN.

BTW: this is not one of those mardy, taking my ball home, posts, it's genuine. It really is taking too much time to browse, and I DO have other things to do. So no daft replies, please.
And I won't see them anyway

Sorry to see your post Alcazar. I can understand why-I had a lot of trouble the same way for a while. Been put on a much faster download now by my ISP at last so its a lot better. It could still be faster though.

Don't stay away too long.

Les

Maybe with the lack of "Is Scoobynet Really Slow?" Polls from Alcazar the site may now speed up a touch
