Question Which Song Reminds You of Xmas?

I have a few from MUD and Lonely This Christmas through to the Slade and Wizard Classics ..... but, sat in front of the fire on a Xmas Eve this song takes me right back there:-

YouTube - Brook Benton - Your All I Want For Christmas

Which song takes you back to Xmas Eve?

Fairytale of New York has to be the daddy of all Xmas songs. After that I prefer many of the older classics such as Bing's 'White Christmas', or Nat Cole's 'The Christmas Song'.

When i was a kid my Dad always played Jim Reeves's crimbo songs

The Pogues always gets played by my local radio station, even if you'd request another crimbo song they would say they can't find it and play that bloody song

Got to firmly agree with this - and really - the German version is the one that does it for me

Mind you - what REALLY puts me in the Christmas mood (which is very hard with LONG term advertising) is listening to a Carol Service. (or taking part in one... if you haven't I recommend it! It may seem a bit sad... but honestly, it is one of the most uplifting and heart-sharing experiences... really reminds you what Christmas is all about)
