co-habiting/CSA question
question:
A girl get involved with a guy who has two kids (with two different ex girlfriends). If she moves into his house, would he be expected to increase his payments for the kids as the household income would have over doubled?
At the moment the csa aren't involved with the payments that get made, if one of the ex's want to turn nasty, could she contact the CSA to notify them of th house hold money increase to claim more?
Or does the increase in the house hold income not effect the guy?
last question:
What problems could there be to the above girl (financial) getting involved with guy who already has two kids he's paying out on?
any comments would be great
on above situation.

CSA payments are calculated on the fathers income only, the only other thing that effects the payments would be if he lived with other dependant children (not necessarily his own either), then the payments may even go down.
Question two, none at all.
Question two, none at all.
As above. The girlfriend has no legal responsibility to the children at all and so the CSA are not permitted to take into account her income.
The only problem financially she'll have is if she falls in love with the kids, she won't be able to stop spoiling them!!

As above, the new girlfriends' income has no impact on the assesment. If the father were to get an assesment it will be for 20% of his net income - the calculations are, 15% for 1 child, 20% for 2, 25% for 3 or more.
