I have a Panasonic Viera TX-P50U10E plasma tv, it has CI slot on the back that a PCMCIA adapter card fits in, however I can't find anyway to activate it.
the TV also has an SD card reader on it but when I stick my CF card in to the PCMCIA adapter and stick it in the tv there doesn't seem to be anyway to view the pics on it. There is a menu option to view pictures from the SD card but not the PCMCIA slot.
Anyone got a similar TV who can tell me how to use the CI slot?
I can use the CF card in the PCMCIA adapter in my laptop to view pics from my DSLR so I assumed I could do the same with this CI slot on the TV.
Also before anyone says RTFM the manual is 19 pages long and only seems to cover the basics.
The manual for my DVD player is mahoosive in comparison.
Cheers
Steve

Mate the common interface slot as I understand it is only for inserting cards that will allow you to view subscriber services. It is not possible to view a CF card directly on the TV, the slot at the front is only for SD cards or smaller format cards in an SD adapter.
