Puppy is kicked to death in park
BBC News:
"A 10-week-old puppy was kicked to death when it ran up to a group of people in a Cambridgeshire park in what the RSPCA called a "sickening" attack.
The Jack Russell was being walked by its owner, a 15-year-old girl, in Priory Park, St Neots, on Monday.
The puppy ran over to three people in a wooded area of the park, and one of them kicked it in the head. It died almost instantly.
An RSPCA spokeswoman called the attack "absolutely shocking and sickening".
A member of the public tried to resuscitate the puppy but it died from a fractured skull.
The offenders, who ran off, wore hooded tops.
RSPCA inspector Cherry Evans said: "This is an absolutely shocking and sickening incident which caused a great deal of pain to this small puppy, and left her owners devastated.
"It is difficult to understand how anyone could be so deliberately cruel and it is vital that anyone with information comes forward."
Pc Amanda Foreman, of Cambridgeshire police, said: "This has upset an entire family who are finding it hard to understand how someone can do this to a puppy.
"If anyone saw what happened, or knows something about this, they should get in touch."
Bring the offenders to my house and I will very slowly kick them to death.

Absolutely sickening, but sadly not surprising in the cesspit that has become british society today
Our new pup is 9 weeks old today. Words cannot describe how the owners must be feeling.
This may not sit well with many on here, but its about time acts such as this against animals were treated on a similar level to those against humans, or at the very least with a far greater degree of severity than they are.
The British justice system is a pathetic joke.

sickening and beyond comprehension to me.
These scum need catching and professional avaluation by a shrink before being let out, if ever let out. As a lot of us know this can be the start of a serial killer(s) path

Also like The Rig said, the dog should have been on a lead, that way it would never have happened, and the poor animal wouldn't be dead.
As much as it's made to sound like the dog's head was kicked in by some hoody yobs, it isn't always as black and white as that. These 'hoodies' may have been attacked by a dog before hence their reaction. Not that I am making excuses. The tiny puppy probably wouldn't have even made a mark with it's tiny milk teeth, but some humans are very stupid and are very quick to react before they think.
Just some food for thought.
Well, not that I agree with two wrongs making a right, but someone/something needs to teach them a lesson.

A 10 week old Jack Russell puppy will be tiny - around 6 to 8 inches long and weigh next to nothing. To suggest that they were in some way "scared" just not conceivable.
It may have been a simple kick out for whatever reason without thought of consequence (I would accept that the headline is typically sensationalist BBC as it made me think they had treated it like a football, rather than one kick) but that's not the point.
Why a 10 week old puppy was off the lead is not the point.
What happened to it was simply not acceptable, end of, and I could quite happily extinguish the life of the little ba5tards who thought it was funny/cool/ok to do it, and I could do that without hesitation or remorse irrespective of his or her reasons.

This story seems a bit odd.
A fifteen year old "owner" walking a "puppy" off a lead?
I assume the main witness is the said fifteen year old and that we don't have the other side of the story?
F*ck it - hang the scum (I don't mean the fifteen year old).

I totally agree Devildog, that is the reason why I said humans are stupid.
We (humans) are the only living creatures on this planet who will kill each other for reasons other than food (with a few limited exceptions throughout history).
