What are you all having for dinner tonight?
I'm going out to my local Indian.
I usually order the same thing as its my favourite - Lamb Madras
But, what other recommendations do any of you have to offer
I don't like the mild stuff, and Madras is as hot as I go
I also like a reasonable amount of sauce
**** - I'm getting hungry already

Ahh, let me see. The finest Indian cooking courtesy of the Lidl frozen food section!
Your choice of chicken Balti, Jalfrezi, Tikka Masala or Korma all with fragrant saffron rice. 1.49 could not be better spent! Go on spoil yourself and throw in one of their garlic & coriander naan breads.
A veritable oriental feast for about 2 quid per person!
Or you could just go out and buy some authentic stuff!

Dunno, Tesco bloke is delivering our groceries sometime between 8 & 10pm so think some sort of take-out could be in order. Supposed to have fish on a Friday so chippy gets my vote...... Then beer

When I was a lad half the street used to exit their homes at 5pm on a Friday night, walk to the chippy and get in the queue with the other half of the street
Tonight, well I will be working - and as its Friday I suspect it will be a Kebab..

I've just had Chinese. Worryingly, I can't really remember what I have so I went in the shop and ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, the lady said 'are you sure, you normally have pork?'. I think I'm a bit too predictable!
Sounds like takeaway price - for more than four times the price you need to be sure
Do you really think the chicken in a restaurant is more 'premium' ie not pumped up/infused with pork/else ?
Of course you get to sit down somewhre other than your house / screaming brats , but authentic indian cusine , i doubt it

£25 per head, yet the bill was £65 that works out at £5 each for 3 soft drinks....

Well worth a visit if you have never been.
Our waitress was striking too, an extremely pretty chinese girl with short blonde hair, in fact I would go as far to say absolutely gorgeous.
I always think banquets are a waste of cas as I would rather spend the cash on meals I really like, £50 on food in a restaurant with me my missus and my daughter and I wouldn't be able to move afterwards as I would be stuffed
You can swap and change the meals to your liking, its not set in stone.
The food is the best Ive had, Im no expert, but I know what I like.

A simple question -
Why are all supermarket Indian and Chinese meals absolute crap?
What is so difficult? I've never understood it.

Tomorrow night i will be doing my speciality, chicken breast stuffed with stilton cheese and wrapped in bacon served with brocolli and dauphinoise potato's
All washed down with a couple of cans of cider followed by red wine.
Happy days

Well, Indian Lounge, York.
Veg Samosa, King Prawn Shaslick, Baingan Aloo (aubergine and potato), Tarka Dhal and Peas Pilau. Oh, and a garlic and coriander nan.
Other half had a mushroom starter.
One diet coke and two large glasses of wine.
£42 and very tasty and light food.

But it tastes so much better than supermarket crap "meat" from asia

Plus at least I know the meat is local stuff, because a customer of mine delivers it to my local
I've witnessed how the chickens are killed etc
The lamb - we'll I haven't seen exactly how thats killed
Anyway, my lamb madras with pilau rice and plain nan was absolutely lovely as usual
