I'm off to Bravaria next year for a competition, and the germans I spent the last week with have advised to bring crampons.
What I'm looking for is a heel set that can be strapped to the boots and a detachable fronts that can be strapped on when I need them. Plan is to use them to keep me stable when aiming on target.
I know my KSB's aren't designed to take clip in style crampons, so hoping to get strap on ones to save having to buy relatively inflexable boots.

I've used GSB hook crampons a couple of times with my Manta GSBs. Not the kind you are looking for, but I'd advise against using crampons with more flexible boots.
Not sure I've come across a crampon like you are describing?
Heel clip/strap and toe strap crampons are easily fitted and removed - would that not be the best option for you?
