Would you care to elaborate on why I am royally taking the ****?

Which banner advert is the one that is annoying you as its half the size of your screen? Maybe I have missed it as surely your not complaining about the one I have clearly stated is an error and is being fixed today?

It doesnt. However, the company that own this forum and employ the staff doing the changes and resizing are in California.

So the people that own the British forum only work 9-5 Califoria time, handy if anything goes amiss in Britain

You could look at it this way, if anything happens in the evening, which must be the busiest time, then the septics are still working and can fix it

That's a pretty poor reason not to have this rectified. There should be at least someone able to deal with issues 24/7, the internet is 24 hours not 9-5.

And meanwhile the company gets its banner the size of the moon...

We have a 24hr tech team whom I can awake at any time of day or night if we have a serious problem and they will log straight in and start work.

Indigo's miss sized and miss placed banner is not a serious problem to anyone.

Well I hope indigo are paying you extra for the oversized ad, otherwise it's won't be fare on the other companies who advertise, surely that is a reason on it's own to wake the techies?

Yeah, we've already got FF, that's what davyboy uses, I use Crome so we don't have to keep logging in and out of stuff

I did wonder at first if they'd purchased some blanket advertising on all sections of the site, but they did not have the little logo on the forum listing on any other section apart from Styling. I also thought the ad was a little too big, certainly bigger than the A-Plan one which is usually the ad people complain about the most.

Seems it simply is a **** up on the template front from what Stu has said. Trust me on this one, you don't want to go editing templates unless you know what you are doing, it's very easy to remove just a single line or statement and cause all kinds of issues, so even though Stu has the access rights to view/modify the templates, I doubt he's willing to jump in and tweak them without knowing what the results would be, and I can't blame him for that.

How about removing the ad until it can be done properly?

What are you using to block ads? I've just installed AdBlock Plus and had a look at the options for when you block an ad. If you click the "Advanced View" option there is a "Restrict to domain" option which will allow you to only block that ad from the bbs.scoobynet.com domain, thus you will, if you go to another site, see that ad, as it's from a different domain.
