The world's steepest rollercoaster is being built near where I live! Having seen plenty of vertical rollercoasters I was wondering how this could be...
...well today I have my answer I they have now put the rails on and it has a 112deg drop!! Yesterday a negative fall line!
Here is a shaky view from the ground and an early simulation - it looks very extreme with 90 deg negative camber tight 180 deg turns!! All the blood will be in your head. Apparently there are only two similar worldwide. If you click on more info on the video there is a link to a simulation.

Blimey its come a long way since it was Flamingo park, back in the 70,s lol
The 112 degree point, isnt long enough to be any good, given that most of the ride from there on in, is upside down, the long outside roll is good, but not new, the outside turns look good.
The trouble with a lot of new rides, is that there so fast, (to get the momentum needed) that a lot of the loops / twists are over before you register them...
Take Colossus at Thorpe park, the first climb sets you up for the turn into the immleman, but its over so quick, that you dont really realise it....yet the slow outside rolls at the end
bit far too go, but looks fun

Looks good to me, I'd enjoy a ride on thet one. I'd be a bit concerned about the negative G on the outside turns for some people who might be susceptible to a possible brain haemorrhage or stroke. Maybe the turns do not go on for long enough though.

I still say the best fair ground ride is the cups and saucers by far.18 of us went to Drayton Manor one of me mates got drunk,so we took him on the shock wave and then went to the zoo and bought him a big ice cream.Anyhow we decided to send him on the cups and saucers and spun it too ****.Lol he got off and was running around in circles i never seen him look so ill.To make it worse we were queing up for the pirate ship and i pinched this girls *** who was standing in front of him,she turned around and slapped him across the face ..Mind he did get me back on the mississippi and kicked me in the ***** ..this was a few yrs ago but great times.

It is now up and running - commission testing with water filled dummies (no way to talk about Flamingo Land customers I know )
Video quality not quite as good this time
Mumbo Jumbo
PS I have discovered that filming rollercoasters seems to be the ideal hobby for anyone wanting to meet teenage girls via You Tube

Fancy a go, love Coasters, just cant be arsed with the places they are in, for a three minute ride you have to actually go somewhere like that, I spent a week there a few years back, it was kind of fun but a bit rough and ready, my kids were the only ones with hair, hav enever seen so many tats, shaven heads, football shirts and Soverign Rings, to be honest the blokes werent much better.....

I get it now - hey I was up very early this morning to fly to San Diego - I am still only half way there.
I agree with J4CKO - the punters at the Fun Fair end are interesting to say the least. Better in the zoo!

Opened on July 4th with massive queues - it was fabulous weather all weekend. At the final trials and PR on Friday a lightning strike put all the major rides out and there were a bunch of people on Kumali stuck at the top in the lashing rain waiting for another lightning bolt to arrive!
