What things will be worse in the future?

What things will be worse in the future?
Following on from the thread about how quiet it is in here....
When I turned on my lounge lights yesterday (which consist of 3 ceiling bulbs) I noticed how rubbish the 2 energy saving ones were compared to the other old style light bulb, until they warmed up.
This got me thinking that are we on the verge of an age where things will gradually get worse? This would be quite odd as things in general tend to improve.
The only other example I could think of was Concorde, eg in future air travel will be slower than it used to be.
Any other examples?

My dad does up high end houses for people and they refuse to use energy saving bulbs as the light is harsher but worse than nornal bulbs.
Nokia phones are my own example. Used to be great, now cack.
And maybe Impreze Turbos...

A jet engine is usually at its most fuel efficient when it is being ran close to flat out.
Problem is to make planes fly any faster than they do now they would have to go supersonic. This requires a completely different design of plane to be able to withstand all the forces involved, i.e. like Concorde. That wasn't cost effective due to the ratio of the amount of passengers it could carry against the fuel it used, hence they retired it

Apparently they call it Reality TV - over the past few years we keep saying they can't stoop any lower, then they maanage it!
What's next, Reality Adoption, Reality final farewells, I'm sure some of you can come up with some good ideas - who knows, Channel 4 may even pay for them!!

Don't think so

The reason they gave for it retiring was that the (main) company that provided spare/replacement parts stopped producing them and it simply became a case of not being allowed to run an aeroplane without that cushion of safety.
In fact, when you go on the tour, you are asked to be especially careful as the plabe could be put back in to service, all they did was drain the hydraulic systems and remove the batteries. It was airworthy and ready to go. He was very dismissive of people who had climed that it was a travesty that Virgin had not been allowed to run it because they simply couldn't have!
Interesting to go on if you are in the area. The guys running it were all people who worked on, or were involved in the design of Concorde.

This country.
Thanks to new Labour, every imigrant on the Planet want's to come to Britain to claim a new house, Benefits, free health care, education etc.
Crime is rising due to the influx of imigrants. Chavs who, thanks to New Labour, have made it easy for them to A) Claim Benefits and sit on their @rse all day, and B) commit crime, knowing that the criminal justice system is geared toward protecting the criminals rights more than their victims.
10-20 years time, this country will be fcuked. Not just fcuked, but proper fcuked.

At one time, we practically ruled the world. Invading countries and teaching the locals a thing or two.
Now we are the ones getting invaded. Our hands are tied behind our backs though. We can't fight back. The invaders have a secret weapon. A tool soo powerful, no British government can fight against.......
The human rights brigade.

For me the thing thats is getting worse (as proven by this thread) is blaming immigrants for everything. It's just so sad, predictable and demonstrates complete bankruptcy of thought
