Talking Show me your weapons.

Following on from the Air Rifle thread does anyone want to post up their weapon of destruction?

It seems that a few of you here have one thing or another and i want to see what you have.

I couldn't possibly bring out my weapon.

It also packs a punch, and doesn't fire blanks either

Yeah thats right, repeater for BB's and single shot .177 pellets Remeber buying it when I was in Nottingham waiting for our coach to take us to MK for a rave. I intended on leaving my bag on the coach but we ended up having to take our bags into the rave with us as the coach was leaving and it a different one returning... Hmm, was interesting trying to explain that one to the bouncers

Yup the Sanctuary for a Helter Skelter night

It doesnt kill Pigeons anymore seems to have lost alot of its power and aim. Just use it for shooting carboard targets in work now

Killing anythign with an air pistol is illegal. firearms used have to produce over 6ft / lb muzzle energy to be classed as lawfull. Pistols are limited to 6ft / lb or under.

I've got that one: used to be the bees knees in the late '80's. How does it compare today?

On a related point, I've just got off the phone to a customer who's currently at Bisley on a 1000 yard shoot with his 7.62mm SAKO Finland Sniper's rifle. He's also got a proper .44 Magnum (with 18" barrel, not the gay .357 variety), semi automatic 12 bore shotgun that also fires solid lumps (!) for killing game and a couple of other sporting guns. I was a bit surprised because he's a lovely old stick.

NB: my school used to have a mini-arsenal: bren guns, sten guns, GPMG, SLR's and even a compact bazooka! ***** on any knife crime!

Matteboy, thats a Mk1 Daystate Harrier in .22, its very customized, with a custom paint job, Harris bipod, SA80 (LSW variant) butt pad, and a Dave Welham regulator, the cheek piece comes off the US army Gerrand rifle!

I look after mine and I would say its still as good as the day it was bought, despite several hundred days outside in the rain, snow, wind, etc... It gets stripped down once a year by one of my mates who's pretty good and its lubed, new seals and bits and bobs. When I first got my FAC I had it re-tuned with a bigger spring to 18ft/lbs but it made it less accurate as it would kick. Its used mainly for pigeon shooting in cow sheds on farms and I rarely miss.

Never compared it to anything newer as since getting this and my Rapid 7 i've never needed anything else.

I use one of these... not for killing wildlife though. Old skool rules - none of this blinged up scoped nonsense and still gets them in at 1000 yds
