Pictures as requested

I sincerely hope this works since I have not sent pictures via a forum before and I found the instructions to be a bit inconclusive.
The first one is when I met Pete Conrad the astronaut at Daytona. He was the man who collected piles of moonrock until they were worried the ship would not take off!
The second is a bloke who was supposed to drive the F Ford at Daytona in practice but said he was more interested in his big Nascar saloon, but his sponsor insisted that he drive it as well. I said I would drive it for a joke and he said "Here is my helmet and suit, you are welcome but try to get me a reasonable grid position!" So I did drive it-on the inner circuit, and really enjoyed it. No one ever knew it was me and not him

The next is a poncy one of me by the Vulcan we used in the big Bombing Competiton in the US.
Sorry about the poor quality of the one of my crew, they were very good and earned the top possible rating in the Command.
The one of my racer in front of the Vulcan was taken because I represented the RAF at the sport. I am the one without the moustache

The last one was taken when I was taking off for a display at the AFB near Las Vegas. If the photographer had waited a bit he would have got us going vertical.
If the pictures come up, I have posted them not to prove anything but just because some people wanted to see them. As a matter of fact some S Netters have already seen them, and one has also seen my RAF flying logbooks as well.
My sincere thanks to those who supported me in another thread.

WOW!
They are fantastic! I'm so pleased you put them up for people like me to see them- because we're interested! It sounds like you've led a very interesting life Les and I sincerely hope to meet you in person one day when you can tell me all about it!

Fantastic Les.
Great pictures and I bet you have a million stories to tell.
Always loved it when Vulcans came to VAS at Wattisham. And recently re-read the Vulcan 607 book.
Hats off to you sir.
Cheers

some great pictures there, and a fantastic story to go with it
I'm a big fan of the old Vulcan... hope I manage to see the restored one in action at some point this year before they run out of money again

I too was a Vulcan pilot but I don't like to boast and all that. Here's proof:

That's me in the middle with the rest of the crew
Handsome fella I was back then

That's me flying the beast

The view from the cockpit

And one from the ground.
There you go, case closed, I flew Vulcans

Still young enough to have bit of real fun round Castle Combe
Sorry to ruin the legend about the moustache though! Bloke who trained with me had a good one though-might be able to find a picture.

That was early days, later you could see it from behind him!
