People dont realise that the Police have proper jobs to do, like sticking light meters on your tinted glass, and getting metal rulers out and measuring the spaces between letters on your reg plate.

Sorry Sir you cant have MUMS TAXI in 4mm high letters on the base of your number plate.....that will be £60 please...oh and a solved crime stat for me and my Super, all the best.

The Police have important things to be doing, solving crime, give them a break.

But if your car gets nicked they will be around to see you on the 38th of Jelember, not likely to get a quick tick box on that one.....nah leave it.

 

Speaking as someone who works for the ambulance service I couldn't agree with you more. Sadly, we deal with calls worse than hers every day of the week - can you imagine how many people will already be planning their 'taxi' home on Wednesday night. All the time we are required to deal with these malingering fooking wasters genuine calls are delayed and putting lives seriously at risk. Until we can say NO to these people without fear of staff being personally held responsible, then the situation will go on and on.....here endeth the lesson.
On this subject I see there was someone rang 999 as they'd had trouble getting through to the Come Dancing phonelines
