My guess would be post 11 on this thread.....
https://www.scoobynet.com/non-scooby...used-site.html
One of the prefects objected. But I could be wrong.
Why aren't details posted in Profile any more?

Surely as he's already been put on a permanent ban with the main user account then a permanent ban should be applied to this one too? It just seems like he is never going to learn so why should we put up with it?

Someone's got a real problem with some people on here. At least now we can narrow that down to a few who have the power to infract. He's never got me angry enough to think, "I know, this'll teach him" and give him an infraction. Sometimes I think people treat this forum with far too much seriousness and should just grow up. You can't get on with everyone, so let's all learn to live together... la la la... (finally flipped!)

You should have an infraction for that.

Yet to me the only problem are the same 2 or 3 very sad sounding members that post constantly on any of his threads and then cry like children to admin when he so much as replies.
I'm fairly sure too that admin (bar one mod) see this.

I for one find him quite ammusing, so I'd vote no. And yes, he's had a go at me before in one guise of another; so what!

Banned for that but it's quite acceptable to post gloating comments about 15 year olds being burnt to death for sitting in the back of a stolen car.

I totally agree, life's not fair though. It's the same with the Government, we all hate the way the country's run, but if we were all given power ourselves, the country would end up in a right state, (i.e. giving us the power to infract!) That didn't work, so power is back to a select few (like the Government), and we complain about that too.
I didn't realise SNet was a democracy as members of the powerful, i.e. the mod team, were chosen behind closed doors. So I suppose I ought to shut up and accept my fate

Remember, its a BBS made up of many types of people, all with varied values, and should be treated as such. Getting worked up over anything borders on insanity in itself.

Pete dangled the bait and the usual 'cod-fish' leapt out of the water.
Then he's banned for showing his catch Nothing wrong with trolling (trawling) for the hard of learning

The various shopping threads can also benefit people if different sites are put forward.
If people had more about themselves they'd realise they don't need to let what Píssy says have any impact on them whatsoever.

Right, just to clarify. Pete is allowed to post on the SSU account, as he was banned by Simon on the PS Lewis account, but already posting on the SSU account when Stu came on board. Stu has allowed users to post under these circumstances provided they behave. He is formulating his own views about users, without any mods influencing that.
On this occassion, Pete is having a little time on the naughty step, for stepping out of line, and biting against certain people goading him. What you need to remember, is another user also was banned for doing exactly the same to Pete. So this has not been done to attack Pete, but it goes both ways, when people won't play nice. I'm sure Pete isn't losing sleep over this, and hopefully understands why this was done.
Quite honestly this sniping between certain members, is not only childish, and boring, but takes up quite alot of time dealing with. As has already been said on this thread, it would be quite nice if people could just get along. If that is me being mad, fair enough, then as I asked recently, could certain people just ignore each other instead?

Agree with Lisa completely. I've said it time and time again:
If you find someone objectionable, ignore them. If they transgress the rules, report them and leave it at that. Do not reply to their threads, insult or bait them or YOU become part of the problem too! Also, if you're right about the individual in question being a troll, then you've just walked straight into their hands!
It takes two to tango. A point which some people just don't seem, or don't want, to grasp.
Pete's status is a direct result of threads such as these, which promote him, even in his absence.

You're quite right of course and I have done really, honest guv'. After all it's only the bloody 'net.
I smile a bit when I see pages of terms and conditions which no one will really read when all that might be needed is a general rule that people can post whatever they might say to a group of friends and their acquaintances in the pub. May be 2 or 3 lines about racism and legal stuff. dl
