Has anyone experienced any problems with these units? I've had mine for a couple of months now and everything has been fine - very impressed so far.
However last night, the unit just stopped working. The display went blank and I couldn't get it to turn back on again. I've checked the fuse in the adapter and that's OK. When I plug the unit in, I can here a 'click' and that's it - no display or boot up sequence.
Looks like I'm going to have to return it, just wondered if anyone else had suffered a similar problem.

I presume that you've checked that the cigarette lighter socket it working properly!? Does anyone else you know have one? You could try their cable with your machine and their machine with your cable. I just hope the cable isn't faulty and it blows theirs aswell!
Was it switched on when you started the car up, the electrical surge could kill it!
I agree, a useful device (when it works)!

Had mine since June from Networx. No problems so far. I always leave it on and it comes on when I start the car. No problems yet, although it seems this may not be a good idea.

Spoke to Comtech today - no arguement, just send it back and it will be replaced with a brand new unit - can't say fairer than that. Top marks to Comtech for their customer service
