During the 18 months or so I didnt use ScoobyNet this system was brought in.

I am not familiar with it.

I have read alot on the Policies forum but didnt find all the answers I wanted.

Shaggy told me that 5 points gets you a ban, I now know this.

I also now know where to view my scores and what thread they were in.

Without getting into slanging match could someone spare the time to answer the questions below:-

How long does an infraction last for (duration in time) before its void?

Are they always 2 points?

When you reach 5 points and your banned, how long does the ban last?

Blimey, you're brave mentioning the I word in the main forum, apparently everything you need to know are in the stickies in the policy section.

Length of infraction and ban depends on why, as does number of points, if I understand the rules correctly.

 

Your user control panel will show you when an infraction expires. The screenshot posted above will show you the normal expiry times for infractions.

The reason the Abusive / Offensive one has an odd expiry date is because you have an active infraction in that class, and one of the options for infractions is wether the expiry time is extended or not. If it's extended then the more infractions of that type you get, the longer before they expire.

As for the ban. The truthful answer is I'm not sure how long it is, I think it's two weeks.
