hi has anyone been to Newyork for a little getaway break like after christmas but before newyear just wanted to know any good cheap places as im wanting to take my other half on a christmas spending spree without the kids .
been on expedia but ive always thought that is an expensive website and also looking at the sex and the city tour as shes mad on it

i paid £1200 for 3 nites there with the missus and that was 2wks befor christmas and 4yrs ago so ide take that as a starting price mate

 

I went 23 Dec 04 for 4 nights, stayed at the Raddison on Lexington Ave - cost £75 per night for the room (double). Didn't treble the price for Xmas like most places. Booked through expedia tho, hotel and flight separately. Have fun, it's such a fab place.
