Just a quick 'heads-up' for all you US TV show fans, as many of the new seasons start during early September - as follows:

Prison Break, Season 4 - 1st September 2008...

Entourage, Season 5 - 7th September 2008...

Heroes, Season 3 - 22nd September 2008...

All of the above are US air dates. As far as UK air dates go, Heroes certainly will be VERY close to the US ones (to stop these dodgy individuals downloading the episodes and the ratings dropping!), I don't know about PB and Entourage.

If you haven't seen Entourage... you really should!

And if you're interested in the next season of LOST - well, it's only just gone into production and won't air until the start of 2009.

Anyway, some good stuff to fill the late summer and autumn with.

Just grabbed season 1 of the Wire as well - heard great things about it.

wow been waiting all 3 of these to come back I love entourage best program out the 3. And dexter love this program me and the missis watched both seasons for a full two weeks solid at night lol

 

Cant wait for Prison Break myself. Its awful acting and waaaaaay over the top story lines make the series a bit of a joke but the constant urge to find out what happens next keeps me coming back for more

 

gutted to see atlantis cancelled. It will be interesting too see what they come up with next as a replacement series if anything.

No more Battle Star Galactica either after they finish showing the remaining 10 episodes.

Sci fi genre seems too be pretty dead now.

Does nobody else watch Burn Notice ?

Hope they come good & tie The Unit series up a bit, i hate it when they just cancel shows mid season.

 

I'm pretty sure BSG was always meant to be a short lived thing. Atlantis has done pretty well with five seasons. It will be sad to see it go as it was getting rather interesting, but it'll continue via straight to DVD movies, well, there should be at least one of them. I think there was originally mention that a new enemy would be encountered, but I'm guessing that may not happen, as wrapping up something like that within a few episodes would be a bit poor.

Never got into Prison Break or Entourage, just didn't grab me. At some point I'll get round to watching Dexter.

I did just finish a bit of a Californication marathon and have to say I was very impressed indeed. A very good show and I'm interested to see where it'll go in season 2.

I have to admit I am looking forward to season 5 of Lost, which I think is due late January or early February. The Space Channel is, from the 8th Sept showing seasons 1 to 4, daily, mon to thurs. I never did see season 1, thought it was overhyped and only got into it from season 2 onwards, so seeing what I've missed, plus a bit of a catch up before season 5 will be good.

I'm also waiting for Rent-a-Goalie season 3, which I believe is coming in September. Pretty sure it's not been aired in the UK, but if you see it, give it a watch, it's a rather amusing Cannuck comedy.

 

Watched Damages -series one last month too - superb series with Glenn Close.
