Hey no apology necessary, merely a leg pull. Duplicate posts made, days, weeks or months apart are still as important for those that missed it originally, or for the 4th time.
I believe it was here at the weekend though, and blóody good too.

interesting, the new gtr gives away 200bhp and 200kg and is only 2 seconds slower.
kinda shows that the z1 aint that quick int he grand scheme, like to see a tweeked gtr have a go, maybe the gtr nur spec (if they do one)

i'd like to see sabine drive both round and see the lap times, different drivers don't (to me anyway) make a fair comparison

Amazing that a car with 300kg more weight, 60bhp less, and less grippy tyres can go 3 secs faster than a Porsche 997 GT2.
Somehow I think you've already seen what a tweaked GTR can do
Happy to assist spoon

veyrons, good in a straight line, come to a corner and your fecked, at 2tonnes it doesn't handel that well.
and the zonda f, that was in the wet, and if you've ever been to the ring you'll realise what wet conditions do to it plus isn't confirmed.

Those wikipedia time lists are pretty meaningless, there are so many variables that its impossible to compare like with like.

Thanks for that meaningful input. How many times have you been to the Ring yourself and how many laps have you done?

You sure the Zonda F was in the wet?
I'd expect it to be a lot slower if it was wet.

We can argue about the times till blue in the face.
The take home message of this video is that, contrary to what conventional wisdom might have you believe, the USA can build a sports car that compete on the world's most demanding track with the best from Europe and the Far East!
Case closed!
