I'm looking for a good source of information realting to the demographic make-up of Leicestershire (including Rutland) in particular relating to the different communities.

I lived in Rutland when it reverted to Leicestershire which was a shame. The next morning all the Rutland county boundary signs had been pinched as souvenirs. They had to borrow one back from someone to make a casting for the museum.

Good to see it back again. It had a name for the best schools in the country because of the extra cash from the RAF stations.

^^^^^ Thats the Melton and Narborough road areas of Leicester Iwan. Not really representative of Leicestershire and especially Rutland.

In Rutland they would most likely stone anyone of Asian Descent and certainly enjoy a bit of Welsh style sheep pastimes, in a similiar vien to those from Swindon....

 

I noticed that when I visited a few months ago. My uncle was up there from Wales with an ex-cop. The pair of them were as rascist as the locals.
