Breadown cover
I have just had a look at one of the comparison sites for breakdown cover and there seems to be a lot of new names to chose from at a fraction of the price of the traditional ones.
I have been with the AA for years, but their price is about £130 for the main package. First call and rescue my car.com are offering a similar product for £100 less!
I have never heard of these companies, but I suspect they are just going to use the same local mechanics the AA sent out last time I broke down about 7 years ago.
I rarely drive more than 20 miles from home, only drive Japanese cars and cover less than 7k a year, so unless you all tell me horror stories from these companies I think I will save the money.
Thanks for any advice.

I just can't be bothered haggling to save a few quid when they seem so over priced relative to many others.
