Just put my mind at rest ! coming up the A3 from Guildford towards the Hoggs back just nearing the bridge at the top of the hill. Flash ! or double flash ! , is there a Camera along there or was it someone flashing someone in behind?. Only it was pi..ing down and dark and dismall so cant be sure. Anyone know that area?. G.

 

I don't *think* there is a camera there, unless it's a new one!

There certainly was no camera there last Thursday, never has been. Traffic is normally quite slow there so I wouldn't expect it to be very high on the list of "most worthy sites for a Gatso". 50 limit BTW in case you were unsure.

No camera there - I use it regularly.

I get a few "flashes" when I don't expect it - probably the full SS system and dump valve ;-)

Just confirming again, I've never noticed or been had by a camera that way doing 60 (65 fastest ever taken it - the corners and road width aren't conducive to high speed), as has been said it's a 50 limit and I've been passed by cars doing lots faster.
