Domino I believe he's called ...

And next to his current 3 year old Sassha

I think everyone is aware of the bad rep these dogs have but for people who are scared of them .. you only need to come and see this puppy or the way the older bitch deals with her
Never been a fan of the breed myself .. but these two have changed my mind

Very nice dogs.
Yeah, Staffies have a bad rep due to chav's buying them to intimidate. A well trained Staffie is one of the best family dogs you can own.
All they want to do is play, love, and get their tummy scratched.
Yes, I have a Staffie

Looking at the pics, they seem to have quite bloated stomachs .. is that normal ?
Oh and I have to say they really, really don't look intimidating .. but then apparently my dog is or was a Chav favorite and shes less intimidating that a squirrel ....

If I was able to have a dog, I would have a Staffy in a heartbeat. Yes as has been said, they have unfortunately got a bad reputation due to some irresponsible owners, but the ones I have had contact with have been lovely, very friendly dogs.

aww, domino looks adorable.
my sister 'rescued' a staffy last year, off a farmer who kept him out in a field as livestock security
He was a right little monster when she first got him - no real training, and had some bad habits. He now attends puppy school once a week and last night passed his bronze award
.
He is a cheeky little chap, with an extreme playful side, but is an absolute sweetheart. It the 'chav's of today who get this sort of breed, and don't bother to give it the proper attention and training they deserve, and use them simply as a astatus symbol or at worst for dog fighthing.
People still shy away when they see Tyler, simply because of his breed, and the so called stigmas attached to them

Its a shame that the idiots decided to use the Staff as a mascot, I think they would be the perfect dog for us but my wife wont have one, its a sad indictment of the type of people that have been drawn to Staff ownership by going to a rescue centre website and seeing that a large percentage of the dogs are Staffs, now I dont think that this is because they are hard work, just that people who cant look after themselves properly never mind a pet get them to look hard and then either get bored or cant be bothered to look after them.
We were offered one for rehoming but I got a flat no from the missus. I suppose it didnt help that them only one she has know was my cousins that got all excited on her only visit to our house and laid a massive Dog Egg on the front room carpet !

You are right, Jacko. When we went looking for a dog for my fiance parents last year we went up to battesea dogs home.. a large number of the dogs up for rehoming were either staffy or staffy x

My mum received a photo today from my brother of a lovely little 6 week old Staffy bull.He is black and they named him Lewis. My bro and his family are going on holiday to stay with us and they have all seen him today so my niece wants to take him home now.He is coming straight from the breeder.
I was reading a thread and i understand they are lovely after they are fully trained, the info i need to know is what is the characteristics of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier ?.
