Default Cant stop eating fruit, how much do you eat?

Frick, since I started eating again after abstainance I have found a real love for fruit. Mainly pineapple, apples and white grapes.

At the mo im eating somewhere in the region of 500grams of pineapple, 3-4 apples and about 500 grams of grapes too.

Not sure if its a lot, too much, or ok lol.

Anyone else eat this sort of volumes of fruit?

PS before anyone asks, regular but not sloppy

ROTFL last comment.

Too much fruit in most cases AFAIK is ok as the body will deal with it, but some fruits contain certain vitamins that I think too much of is not a good thing {i think oranges may be one of them} although I am not a doctor someone may know if this is true or not

I try to eat my 5 a day but sometimes it is hard especially when we run out and I can't be arsed to go and get some {today being one of them} it is better to have some than not I think

Not a big citrus person, juice, love it, citrus fruit, not really me.
Been eating it like this for many weeks now and no ill effects. But have similar beliefs to yourself.

Nana's from time to time I get the desire for one, but not very often. These 3 fruits to me are like I am with chicken. No matter what, I just never grow sick of it.
Better than chocolate and chips I guess.

Although recent trips to Hotel Chocolat have been oooooooooooooooh

Saw a program about those really large folks in the US, this bloke had moved into a facility to help him loose weight and they told him that fruit was good.
After a few weeks on specified diet, the docs couldn't figure out how he was putting on weight.
They asked if he was eating fruit and he said yes, they then asked how much....

Turned out he was averaging something like 47 oranges a day!!

Bottom line was, fruit IS good but watch out for the high sugar it can contain, there is a point at which you negate all the benefits.

Lot of sugar in fruit, although natural sugar, you may end up with no teeth!

Totally mate, and my concern. Not quite in the same leagues, but worth checking the figures. I do a lot of walking though, and am maintaining my weight, losing with ease when I want to

As for teeth, aint got none anyway lol

As, mentioned, high sugar content. So if your counting calories, keep an eye on your intake

I like to take my fruit in Innocent smoothie form, usually about 1/2 a litre a day.

lol nope, not measuring intake anymore, just playing it by ear

However on reading the pack....

200grams of pineapple sizes up like this
106 cals
9.3 grams sugars
0.1gram fat
12.6 grams carbs

And each apple...
67 cals
15.7 grams sugar
0.1gram fat

So not tooooo bad, lots of sugar but all burning off by the looks of things.
Speaking of which, time for more fruit and a walk

that is some fruit intake

i would be sh1tting through eye of a needle if i did that much fruit in a day

personally i have been consuming biscuits or wine gums of late since i decided to pack the smokes in,so your fruit diet is somewhat better than my poor diet.

Snazy, I love fruit too I eat about 4 or 5 Clementines a day, I can easily do a whole bunch of grapes and a pear or apple too.

I go through fruit phases, at the moment I'm in my Clementine and grape phase, six months ago it was pineapple and melon Fruit rocks

But most people's diet doesn't have enough fibre, so this would balance many diets out.
