What's the deal with Deal or No Deal?
Catch this occasionally and bloke on it today had been there for 27 games, even if they record 5 a day, that's a lot time to take part in a game show.
Do these people go on there for their holidays..???
2 winners I think in 700 episodes so not great odds of making it big. Just strikes me as odd that contestants spend so much time there with little chance of the big win.
And the vicar bloke, doesn't he have a flock to tend to...?

Its easy.... guy on tonight had a choice of taking a chance of 3k or 250k, or walking away with 60k. If the dealer was playing the odds, he should have offered 121.5 kto break even, but he was playing 'a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush', so offered half that. I think they select people who can't count to be on the show.
That said, the guy went on a game show, gave up two or three days and walked away with 60k. He said he was gutted.....:wnaker:..... its still 60k that he actually has. If he is gutted about what might have been, can you imagine how devastated he is every week when he doesn't win the lottery?

. . . . and whats with all the crying and apologising when they open a big money box - lets be real, there is no skill in this game its knowing when to get out. "I'll have box 6, its mums birthday then no 14 as thats dads...." For ***** sake, why not pick box 1, then 2..3..4.. Lets be honest, people only watch this ****e because a) its on in their messroom at work, as is the case here and b) we love to see someone lose lol

Unfortunatly yesterdays contestant has never played with "" a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush " as his "" partner "" at side ( ringside ??!! ) would testify !!!

Was the blokes dad was with him yesterday.
Why should the banker offer 121k? The whole point is he doesn't want to give away money so makes an offer he thinks the bloke wont turn town because he's chicken about losing the 250 as happened. I reckon the bloke yesterday would have taken 50 and been even more gutted that from his boiled down choice of three, he bottled it.
