iPod Nano
Hello
I just bought an iPod Nano as a present for my wife and I can't explain why: I KNOW there are better MP3 players, cheaper, more functionality. I've told friends that Apple is all marketing, but they just look so good.
It is almost like a religious experience opening one and seeing the beauty.
No point, just ranting. I'm off to self flagellate until I feel better for buying one.

Must admit, I prefer the ipod over other players, only thing that people dont like about it is itunes but I dont have a problem with it, yeah it uses alot of resources but if you have a half decent PC your laughing. I have the classic and its not let me down yet
Headphones - crap, replaced
Battery life crap, replaced with a new one, still crap
iTunes - crap, downloaded an app that let's me just drag and drop what I want.
Data transfer by USB or FireWire but only charges on FireWire - crap
It now just about does what I want (bar battery life), but it's still a rip off in terms of price for what you get and I'd rather not have that daft wheel selection mechanism, if you're going to scroll up and down then I'd prefer the scrolling mechanism does the same thing, i.e. goes up and down.
<rant over>
Anybody want to buy an iPOD?
lol
My battery is just fine thanks, been working all week and Ive used it for at least 2 hours each day. Just connected it to the PC half hour ago to upload some new tracks and its charging, yes through USB
iTunes isnt far off being drag and drop. Pretty simple to use IMO.
Granted the headphones are crap, you can have that one.

Been thinking about a Touch, but stuggling to see the value in it for £300 for a 32 gig one. It's got a bigger screen and WiFi. Is that it?
I've got a shuffle and it's great, battery life fantastic, Itunes interface dead simple. To each their own I suppose
