Default Wardrobes..

Not the most exciting thread sorry!

I am looking for a double wardrobe with sliding doors for my new place.

Does anyone know of anywhere apart from Ikea and MFI that supply them, any other names that spring to mind that I am missing?

Thanks

Fitz

Whats wrong with IKEA ? Thought they did a good range for such things.
Mine are still standing strong and LOADS of options.

Think its the PAL range.

What sort of money you looking to spend, and what you want in there, storage wise?

Rather than high quality for people who spend £400 for a night out?

Personally I dont think "SOME" of their stuff is too bad. The cheaper tat is a bit pikey.

Sadly I dont drink so dont frequent Wetherspoons, nor eat right now, so Cafe Rouge is out of the question too.

Any sensible suggestions of sources of furniture then ?

I can't afford to buy furniture so I have no idea but rather than buy something cheap in ikea we sit on the floor. I call it oriental living and tell people my cushions cost £800 quid from some shop in 'that london'

Very good indeed.
Have you actually been to an Ikea recently? Just out of interest.
Like I say, they do indeed make some cheap basic stuff, but at the same time they do some "good" stuff too.
Personally I am not one for paying £1000+ for a wardrobe, so the quality and price suits me

il go with micheal on this one.

im not really in the selection of people who may spend £2k on a bedside cabinet, then gloat on here about it.

i have no problem admitting all the wardrobes and bedside cabinet in one of the bedrooms cost about £500 from argoos. oh and i assembled them myself. its what i could afford, and im happy with them. money saved will go towards £800 cushions

oh i have to admit, my bed is pine and so is all the furniture in the mrs dressing room. oh the shame...

Basically I just wanted to see other options before I bought anything, nothing against the Ikea wardrobe, I put that thing together and it took damn ages, but once that was up it was never coming down again. I had to give it away with the sale on the house.

Fair play mate
I paid quite a bit for mine from Ikea, but only cos its possible to customise them, so you can decide how many drawers, shelves, shoes racks, tie rack etc.... just liked the fact it store what and how much I wanted it to.

As for the disassembly, I can see your point on that one, certainly with the larger ones.

Woohoo, agreement.
I have a pine bed from Argos, but its getting changed soon as I need a new matteress, so makes sense lol.
For furniture in my bedroom I think I spent something like £1200 in Ikea, so its certainly not cheap. Had it 6 years, and NO issues with any of it.
