I am wanting to start dabbling in the stock market. What is the best site / software to use, can anybody personally recommend any with good rates/charges?

Also, is there any financial guru's on here that think buying Apple shares is a good idea?

hoodless brennan are cheap and seemed ok when I used them. If you want spread betting try CMC or IG index

 

Why? I made over 20% net in December trading stocks.

It is likely that someone who wants to do online trading is likely to be looking at more than a long term investment. And short term investors don't usually care if the market goes up or down, as long as there is movement.

 

Quite, in November I picked TRAD and WSM - cant say I'm unhappy at the moment
