kid has a school project on rock pools so we need to visit some at the w'end.....where are there beaches with some near Berkshire (i know i may have to leave the county to find them )

only beach i have been to within a short drive is bournmouth and i'm sure that was just sand?

any rock pool experts?

 

Dorset will have plenty. Weymouth - Portland Bill. Or where the "chef" set up shop.

Brixham has a particularly good rock pool beach-but a bit far from Berks.

Can't really get much further away from the sea in this country....... i think its a point in Oxfordshire (most inland point!)

 

I always thought it was Meriden, where my lovely old Triumph came from.
