Spaghetti the AV type
How do you people manage your AV spaghetti
I bought one of those cable tidy things today, but to be honest, its not much use. Ive so many patch leads and cables, ive had to resort to looping the cables and wrapping them with insulating tape.

I cable tied all mine neatly together from the tv etc which I then coiled and cable tied the remainder, luckily I have a gap beneath the stand where I stuffed the coiled cables. I wouldn't use insulating tape as it tends to go all gooey after a while.

I shove it all behind the tele, there are cables from the TV, sky, xbox, 1 x home cinema system, 1 DVD player, 1 PS2 and a few other things...you can imagine the friggin mess. No need to tidy, I just send in one of the small children when ever I need anything pluggin...kids are less susceptible to electrical shocks I hear
Well since getting the new AMP (HDMI Onkyo TSX R605) I've managed to ditch a load of cables and it does look better, but still a complete mess back there.

Loop everything as much as possible and then cable tie and hide under the cabinets. Tried the cable tidy stuff, black plastic tubing and it was a waste of time. That was to stop our 3 pet rabbits from chewing the cables. They just chewed the cable tidy and then the cables instead
