Signed up for the trail of this but not used it for 3 months, so they have had 2 x £6 odd of me for nothing.

I had a butchers tonight and omg you still have to pay an extra £5.99 for your credit report .

So basically for 6 per month you get an text message telling you something has chaned - to find out pay 6 notes

If you actually use the services they offer you will consider it £6 well spent. Certainly was in my case.

Guess its one of those things you sign up to and forget about, then wonder where all the money went.

Dont actually have to check your report in full to see whats changed. It tells you the basics you need to know in the status change.

 

I find it strange that they charge at all. The c/c companies are, more often than not, the ones that ultimately lose out when someone commits fraud, so I'd have thought it was in their interests to help people find out as soon as possible if something unexpected has happened in their name.

Surely if they made it easier (ie. cheaper) for people to check their credit reports, the savings from fraud prevention would more than pay for it?

 

They are not a credit card company, they are a credit scoring company. I guess its their way of making some money and funding a rather large online, publicly accessable database.

 

i done the free trial but called and cancelled after a couple weeks but it was good when it was free
