If you pay for something with paypal does the money clear the same day? ie does the seller have a guaranteed payment that cannot be taken back.

 

depends on your PayPal account. if the money comes from your debit/credit card, then yes, payment is "instant". if it comes from a bank account it is an "e-cheque" and can take up to 3 weeks to clear!!

 

It comes from my bank account, thats a pain in the @rse.

paypal have screwed me a few times so i have learned the hard way.
yes if you send money it will show up in the balance of whoever recieves it right away,you then need to transfer the balance too your bank account which usually takes 5 working days.
i used to be a ebay powersell and to be honest gave it up as i seemed to be getting done over far to often by paypal.
