How do you carry your cash and cards?
Every year or so I buy a new leather wallet for 20 quid ono. Although I've changed from the square one to a smaller rectangular one, it still ends up bulky and uncomfortable in my back pocket. And the stitching or cloth rips at the edges eventually.
Anyone found a good product to carry 10 cards, 10 banknotes, a photo travelcard and some coins, which fits in a back pocket? I've seen a couple of aluminium "boxes", cigarette-case type things etc which could be really cool but didn't hold much inside.
cheers
Brendan

Anything not money stays in the glovebox in a freebie Yorkshire Bank plastic card holder. Just the CC/DC's (3) in the wallet, along with the driving license hidden at the back (and its presence denied if asked for by some ) and up to £100 in cash. I mostly use cash these days as I receive it from customers and it avoids fraud. A wallet usually lasts me 10+ years and £20 is a maximum, but they're usually Xmas gifts from an aunt or someone.

Normally just push any cash and the DC card in my pocket - downside side is I keep breaking my debit card so the bank kindly gave me a wallet (FOC) which looks spookly close to this one
LEATHER CREDIT CARD HOLDER/CASE/WALLET - eBay, Men's Accessories, Clothes, Shoes Accessories (end time 15-Sep-07 15:30:56 BST)
Might start using it before they get mad at me for so for this year breaking / snapping 6 debit cards !

Or maybe go slim and stainless
I fear that if I had one, sliding a card out every day would soon scratch the bugger silly unfortunately.

I reckon putting coins in your wallet is where you're going wrong, it's always been the downfall of mine
Mine's due for renewal, I got it for my 21st, I'm 30

I want a slim card wallet which has a clip on the back for notes, my mate has one and it's awesome, so handy for a night out, cos sometimes I drag notes out of my pocket accidentally when sauced up

I have a wallet I carry in my rucksack in summer as it wont fit in my pocket, I then keep my switch card in my back pocket or shirt pocket, then I get my wallet out to pay for something and see the empty switch spaced place and visualise it in the back of a pair of jeans that are currently adorning the bedroom floor.

I bought a mini wallet from Sicily last year. It doesn't hold cards but is great for notes and the odd coin.
I use it for nights out to reduce the "buldge" in my pocket that a conventional wallet gives!
You fold notes in half down the length to allow them to fit.
Always a good talking point when I pull it out at a bar!

I'm really funny about my wallets, I think I spend more time looking for a new wallet than I would a new car! Its got to have the right number of card slots, the righ kind of pockets for change, its got the be the right size, material etc. etc. and I like to have two "cash" pockets, one I use for cash and the other for reciepts. I've currently got a Ben Sherman wallet I got from John Lewis, had it for years and love it! Will be sad day when it finally falls appart

Well co-incidentally, my Sage Brown wallet and coin-holder arrived this morning.
The wallet...
...is very slim for six cards and two receipt slots. I actually use the clip upside-down, so you can hold the wallet in one hand and slide notes in with the other.
For coins i have just got...
which is similar to my existing coin-holder, but with the advantage that you can also carry one card with you at the same time.
I did try one of the Stewart Stand wallets around a year ago, and whilst it was very nice, it did tend to wear at the corners. No scratches on your cards thought, and with the added benefit of being RFID proof

Hilfiger tri fold black leather
8 main c/card slots, and another 5 hidden, with a clear panel for ID also. Two note compartments also.
Not actually that big- fits comfortably in the pocket even when stuffed full of cards.
