Going on a track day in August, but video camera I could borrow is chewing tapes?

Anyone know anything about this type of problem, is it terminal or a jessops job or will it cost more than it's worth?

might just need a quality head cleaner running through + if you know what you are doing cleaning the drum and transport with isoprol(sp?) alcohol and a cotton bud or two.

This is often caused by oxide deposits on the rollers.
