This is the funniest thing I have seen in ages!!
My stomach and my back are aching like mad, I have tears rolling down my face!!

I don't think it is staged at all ..... that's what makes it funny!!
My wife doesn't think it's funny either - maybe I have a weird sense of humour then?
Had he actually fallen over then it's not funny ..... but, as kids with my brothers and sisters we would regularly push each other like this when playing on cliff edges - it's just a really funny prank.
Just that this one was so near going wrong it was, to my mind, hilarious!!
