This might be a SIAL, but I hadn't seen it before and the search seems to be down...
Barnfinds Portugal
Supposedly, someone bought a farm in Portugal, there was a large sealed barn on the property and when they opened it up, it was packed with old, classic cars. Check out the two Lotus classics, they still look quite tidy...

WTF??? any history with this story? does seem a bit odd given there are some fairly modern cars in there.
or did the new owner pay a fortune for the barn, sort of a really expensive lucky dip

This is quite old, I first saw it about six months ago. Apparently there is some issue over the ownership of the cars, but a few of the classic car magazines are having kittens just waiting for them to turn up at auction

So, its actually owned by a collector!
Good on him. Keeping that stuff locked away. He may not have planne dit, but ONE DAY some of those cars will bring some enjoyment to the likes of us at a show or museum.

Bloody amazing - apparently there are 180 cars in there, still owned by one owner who is alive and well and just happened to let one person take some pics - hence the stories. None will be for sale for ages. But an aladdin's cave for many enthusiasts... Bloody amazing, I say again...

Quite amazing. I used to have a Lancia Aurelia once. That was the car that gave birth to the "GT" term. It was a lovely car to drive and was very fast. My mate and I put an Aurelia engine into a Lotus Eleven once. It went alright but did not want to go round the corners as he found out at Castle Combe!
