I am in the middle of building a play area complete with slide, swings etc for my 2 young daughters in the back garden. However I need a soft surface for them to play on.

I have seen in some children's play areas where the ground is covered in small pieces of rubber (bits of tyres etc) about 3 to 4 inches deep. This would be ideal for me as I could cover the area around the slide and swings with this stuff, knowing that my kids would not hurt themsleves if they fell.

However I have searched high and low for these rubber moulding and cannot find a place that sells them. I know it is a long shot but can anyone help?
