I've just done yet another reinstall, now I'm running w2k. I think the mic won't be working again cause I'm having to use another soundcard (no drivers for the onbord one for 2k). It'll be a small prce to pay to get back to a reliable machine.

Is it me or do computers reach a certain age and then just get unreliable, crashing, blue screens of death etc?

I used to put most of my spare cash into keeping the computer up to date but thats all changed since owning the scooby

Just a small matter of reloading HL & CS and getting it configured to how I like it.
