Wembley Stadium
Unfortunately I have to go there tomorrow, my brother has 2 tickets to watch Muse and he cant find anyone else to go with so Ive been lumbered with it (Dont like Muse or the support bands apart from Dirty Pretty Things) I know its going to be a waste of a Saturday but I dont have a choice now. Nobody on ebay would even buy the tickets
So, since there is no onsite parking at Wembley whats the best way to get there? Thinking of driving somewhere to park up and get the tube in. Anywhere within walking distance?
Any advice would be appriciated
Dave

easy thing to do is come down the M1, come off jnct 4 i think, go to Stanmore tube station which is at the end of the jubilee line, park in the car park and get the tube to wembley park (on the same line)

There a bloody huge carpark!
£15 to park in there mind, but a huge carpark never the less.

Trains all the way. The Chiltern Line service is excellent and they've done an excellent job with platform access etc. Or the tubes if they're more convenient.

Firstly the deal is my ticket in is free if I drive so no drinking Im afraid. Secondly, they might be good live, but the music just isnt to my taste Im afraid. Also got to sit through the drab that is the streets God help me.
Simon, according to the Wembley web site there is no onsite car parking although for £15 if there was they can bugger off lol
Ted, that sounds like a reasonable plan, I'll be coming straight down the A1 though but its all the same

Look at wembley arena's website.
I know there is a carpark there, I parked in it 3 weeks ago when I was there photographing Rogue Traders for the agency. Infact I'm there quite often.
Infact thwe carpark runs around the entire perimeter of the stadium, so their talking bolloks

But it's at the stadium not arena isn't it? Or is that the same site?
I saw Muse in December, even if you don't like their music you should find their show entertaining enough. They sounded just like they do on the cd and had a pretty good light show too.

Track Day Organiser
I used the NCP Link and Parked at Croxley and came in by Metro line
Parking £5 2 returns £7.90 each
There is parking at Wembly a multi story
Evidently Johnny Vaughn was on the top level at The recent GM Concert and it took 4 hours to get out of the car park
TUBE all the way

Muse
I went to see Muse last night, i don't mind the albums, the music is good for working out in the gym. I saw them on the BBc coverage of Glastonbury a few years and was so impressed by their energy and the way that they play.
So tickets were purchased last November.
The support act were, 'The Dirty Pretty Things' and 'The Streets', neither of which i was that impressed by, however the main man of 'The Streets' made an effort. We were all there to see Muse, anf i have to say that they were very good, tight and all on cue. The light show was one of the best i have seen.
All in all a good night, apart from the bad policing at the train station and the fact that none of the stewards had a clue that you couldn't get on the jubilee line, and we are meant to take public tansport ??

Aye, must say I was rather impressed, to say I was looking forward to Dirty Pretty Things it was a bit of a let down but Muse were awsome. Can definately see how they got best Live act last year.
Getting there was a bit of an issue, parked up at Stanmore and intended to get the tube but yesterday and today the line is shut so had to get the bus
All in all a great day actually. got home at 1am which wasnt too bad, just enough time to spend a little time clubbing Pics to follow

Therefore option 2 is slightly dearer BUT more convenient.
I propose option 3 (albeit too late) - Take a helicopter, granted it'd be dearer but you'd be home quicker.
