Drove down the coast road to Split ,rain plus shiny concrete equals Torvill and Dean practice route,and that doesn't include the mad and bizzare antics of the local drivers,40ft artics 100ft down smashed to bits in the sea,but could be worse could be on the M25 !

Anyone notice how they drive on the left (the 'wrong' side) specifically on that stretch of road to allow them to get even closer to the edge of the drop without dipping a wheel over?! Insane.

My dad used to drive roads exactly like that when he was one of the main drivers for a touring company back in the 70s...
Drove all around South America, Africa, Afganistan, Iran, Iraq, up to China etc... love of interesting stories to tell.
He told me it is very slow going going on roads like that - especially negotiating ex army trucks full of tourists!

It reminds me of a road a bit like that in India. Not as narrow as that one, but that simply allows the traffic to be going faster when they fall off. You can see where the petrol tankers have gone over by the big scorched areas...
