Default HDMI Splitting

I've just ordered Sky HD and realised that my TV only has the one HDMI input which kinds of b*ggers things up... given that I have a HDMI upscaling DVD player already connected.

Does anyone know of a piece of kit that accepts multiple sources into one output for HDMI?

I don't mind getting a new amp (as long as it isn't silly money because then I may as well buy a new TV) I can only find signal splitters to take one input to multiple outputs... annoying really.

Something like this.

Clearly AV - Signal Distribution - HDMI

You could try this at about £120, or this at £75 or this at £125, or even this from Curry's at £50.

If you want a new amp, have a look over on AVForums.

I found the octava nto long after posting - but thanks for the other options... I'll probably go for the Octava as it gives me some more flexibility and it has had some good reviews

Hi,

How about not spending any money at all and using the component video out from the Sky HD box and using the HDMI for the DVD player.

This will give no difference in image quality, I even think that component is better than HDMI and the Sky box will output HD content over component whereas your DVD will not.

Any other questions, just give me a shout.

Regards

Jason
