Anyone had any dealings with the above?? how does it work and is it a good plan??

Yup, I have one. Was to acknowledge that I was putting the cash from my existing house in to the new one I bought with a joint mortgage with the gf. Think we did something like a 75% : 25% split. I believe it's valid in court if things split.

There are lots of different types of trusts for different purposes. What are you trying to do?
