If you are using one while driving is it going to make a big differance to the engine performance or would it be hardly noticable?
Thanks

A 150w. inverter wont make a noticable difference. If you have a directly-attached 2000w. monster itll cane your alternator though.....

You wont see any difference at all with 150W. Much too small to make any difference.

Sorry but why bother with one of them just to run your laptop, Laptops are only about 5-8 volts anyway and most manufacturers supply cigarette lighter adapters to power laptops anyway.

Some laptops have the transformer built into the laptop, although they are seen less and less these days
I have had cigarette lighter power leads for my dell laptops I have had in the past

LOL..... who said anything about laptops?
Wanted it for powering a camcorder plus 2 bullet cams.
Camcorder only has a mains fed lead and a one off Sony connector.
Anyway, think i've sorted it now.
