Got sent an e-mail by someone i've never heard of with an attachment that doesnt seem to do anything. :-? Scanned for viruses with norton 2001 and nothing. Seems to some sort of MP3 file? It appears to be a virus as im getting mail rejection messages from e-mails i aint sent - what can i do?

 

Update your Antivirus software.

 

Sounds like BadTrans_B to me.......classic double extension attatchment xxxxx.mp3.pif

www.sophos.com has got a small batch file to download which will disinfect your PC for you....its quite easy to do it manually....but this file does it for you.
