Which download sites do people recommend. I have registered with allofmp3.com, the layout of this site is excellent, but only offer two methods of payment, both involving credit card, which it says are not being accepted . mp3search also seems pretty reasonable at 10p a track.
Neither have the track from the Fiat Punto ad though .

Any other similar format sites worth trying?

Paypal is fine by me but they only accept payment with credit cards and that dosn't work.

 

I use allofmp3, have topped my account twice recently with good old mastercard. The payment portal bills through the USA, hence the card problems. If you end up on payment portal chronopay, then you can use diners club IIRC. I cant remember the exact route, but one way takes you to a different portal e-centru which takes mastercard still.

I did illegally download stuff before. I since made friends with a few musicians and now buy everything as I wouldn't steal from friends, and by illegially downloading I am strealing revenue from them.

Couldn't refill it for ages with 'normal' credit cards and then it worked. However, now you can't??

I have noticed however their prices have gone up recently - still cheap though.

The one thing that is consistent with them is quality of mp3 - top notch.

That's why I don't mind paying a dollar or two for an album, instead of arsing about with limewire etc.

 

I use allofMP3. To refill balance I purchase a voucher (link from their site) on Cronopay, which does accept credit cards. You purchase an amount, receive a code, put that into allofmp3 and bob's your uncle.

I also use their AllTunes software to browse their catalog and download the tracks.

 

The Russian Government has agreed to take allofMP3 of the net due to the current legal wranglings coming out of the states.. No time frame was given last time I looked
There's discussion whether their current Payments to the 'performing artists assoc...' are valid but the US has placed pressure to get this and the other Russian sites removed...

To help the battle, VISA have stopped taking CC payments from allof.... Mastercard may be next..

However, the vouchers seem to be working... but's it's a lot of a faff to go through that way...
