I know this ford quite well and its down a really bumpy unsurfaced track, when we have really wet weather you have to be part brain dead to attempt to get through it.

www.wetroads.co.uk

Look for Sheepy Parva, and the water wasnt deep when the photo was taken.

You would be mad to tackle this in any normal car, even more so when the river is swollen. A fool and their (boyfriends) Merc are soon parted.

Bet she feels a right pillock !

'in three...hundred.....metres, swim...like.f*ck''

I reckon Sat Nav units are evil and try to get you in trouble, I keep ending up at brothels and in pubs.

What about the woman who recently turned left at a level crossing onto the railway tracks! Just because her sat nav told her to! Its a shame the sat navs aren't programmed to say "continue driving until you fall off the cliff".

Women and technology shouldn't mix

My sister is a prime example of a numptie who programmes their satnav and just blindly accepts what it tells them regardless of common sense I, on the other hand argue with mine and change it's route, add vias, waymarks and generally beat it into submission until it goes the route I've planned on my map

An amusing story on several levels...

Not only do we have the stupid b1tch driving the car - you know the type, utterly absorbed in her own puerile existence: handbags, 'do lunch', 'moi, moi, darling' that she is incapable of computing the fact that water = deeper than car.

We also have the thigh slapping, jolly hockey sticks 'Alice', the ruddy faced stable owner, who wades in up to her chest to drag clueless b1tch out.

And then the boyfriend of Alice, who heroically chose not to go in the water himself and presumably sat on his **** laughing heartily at the spectacle unfolding before him... his girlfriend grunting and thrashing about in the river attempting to birth a bedraggled and shrieking sloan in a wet and no doubt transparent blouse from a sunken 90 grand mercedes.

All the ingredients of a damn good yarn.

The best part is the reward for saving her life. A bunch of flowers. If it was me I would demand Sexual favours or cold hard cash before I got my suit dirty.

Since when has a SL500 been £96000 ! Even if you went daft on the options list I cant see how you could get it to that.

Thumbs up

Miss Clark's boyfriend then took the woman, who gave her name only as Hayley, to a motorway service station where a chauffeur-driven Bentley collected her.
Class, or loads of money !

I hate to pick fault etc.. but it appears that even if she was skint she'd have more money than sense..... no doubt the mad motorists organisations (you know who you are) will add this to this to the list of reasons of why sat nav should be banned ... ffs
