Last ever StarGate: What a pile!!!!!!!
I got the night off work last night to watch what I hoped was going to be a great epidsode, the final chapter in the stargate sage.
Now, I'm no geek, but I do enjoy good Sci-fi, but I was let down big time.
It was a really poor epidsode, particular because it was the last ever one.
Anyone else share my views.
What are the SGC going to do with the new Asgaurd techknowledge, whats happens to the Ori ships.
Poor, very poor.

I gave up on Stargate years ago, it outlived its fun factor and was getting to be repetitive in my opinion. Same thing happened to Star Trek Voyager, Star Trek Enterprise, Sliders, Invasion, and so on................... US shows rely on popularity figures to survive and as soon as they look like they are dropping then its almost inevitably the end!! Futurama ( there were roumors of a come back or DVD Movie ) was killed of by Fox for just this reason. Maybe they rushed Stargate due to time and cash restraints..............or just ran out of ideas and writhing talent.

Have not seen the final SG-1 episode yet, should be airing here soon though. As said by others, there are two direct to dvd movies coming out later this year, one, The Ark of Truth, will tie up the Ori storyline and the other, Continuum, revolves around Ba'al and how he has altered history by removing the stargate from earth before it was discovered in Eygpt, thus leading to a lack of the SGC.
The final episode of Season 3 of Atlantis aired on Monday evening and it was pretty good. Pretty sure that Weir is only going to be in a supporting tole next season and Carter switches from SG-1 to Atlantis, so I'm sure Rodney will be delighted

I have always enjoyed Stragate, and I doubt that they ever thought it would get this big!
Atlantis IMHO sux a wee bit, saw a couple episodes, nearly feel into a coma!! The effects on the Atlantis show are not very good either......
Does anyone remember that LA cop series directed by Michael Mann "Robbery Homicide Division" that only aired 12-13 episodes 'cause one the actors, Tom Sizemore was so out of it, they had to cancel?
Thanks

Just watched Ep20, ep 19 still downloading.
Not as good as it could have been, but I've seen worse endings.
IMO it lost its way slightly once RDA left acting and stood behind the camera.

They do seem to have been struggling recently, not sure why. The Ori storyline had amazing potential.
I guess its all been down to funding. We've not seen the Azguard for ages, and then they kill them off in one episode. So amazingly sad really.
The show had more to give, but they needed to know that they had a few more seasons to run, and the budget. It was not on its knees when they ended it
