Heard about this at work today, apparently they're arranging some sort of social thing for all the women at work to celebrate

I don't get it, it seems a bit patronising to me oh lets celebrate that we're women and can actually do stuff with our lives and be successful

Am i missing something with this or does it seem ridiculous to anyone else, i can't remember ever hearing of national bl00dy mens day

 

how are they going to all celebrate it, when they will be doing the washing up ????

Of course there's no problem at all having an international mens day - but it would need someone to organise it. And that would mean multitasking - and that probably explains why there's only an international womans day.

 

No doubt the shops will see this and start marketing cards and presents.
