Steve / Barry

One for you. BT side dedicated to on-line gaming. Spare me the outrage that BT should talk about it but just picked one phrase up from a quick scan....

"Gaming online via ISDN will improve your experience no end. If you’re to stand a chance of eliminating your opponents in first person shoot’ em ups such as Quake, Unreal Tournament, Command & Conquer and Half Life, an improved ping speed is essential."

56K Pah - Adsl Double Pah !

Get ISDN

What Barry you "upgraded" ?

Isn't bonded ISDN capped at 128k and about 4 billion quid a minute. You really want a 2 Meg leased line that the company pays for. Also office keys are handy

Mikeeb seems to get a very low ping using isdn. Could be explained by dialing into the same building / backbond as the machine is located?

Oh yes, stop the laughter Mr Dean O' Camper.

My gateway has been upgraded. Ping super, no lag.

I can't shoot straight.

Well bully for you.

Isn't there an "h" missing from the title line of this thread?
