I saw these on another site, they're outstanding
One of the members on the site where I saw them (a military plane enthusiasts site) reckoned it was all to do with a telephoto lens
To be fair though the bloke in question is a bit of a plank 
Telephoto lens or not that is still very close and an amazing bit of flying. Our RAF boys rock
